It’s not harmful when used like the majority of companies have used it so far. It is a tool that companies have come to use quite often. More times than not, you wouldn’t even know you’ve seen it.
The reliability of it has been shown to be quite effective in things that the majority of the world have been using such as Facebook and as was said earlier, your free email sites such as AOL and Yahoo. Whenever you type something into let’s say the Facebook Status Line, “Today mom made us some cookies”, you will probably see some advertisements pop up on the side of the screen now that will most likely have something to do with cookies.
Marketing companies have been adapting SEO Technology into just about everything that you use now that you have to type into. This helps cut down on their actually having to try and figure out what it is you are using at home, work or play, just by letting you talk about it. Quite smart actually.
Is it stable? Well like with anything out there, technology has to constantly be updated. Especially when it comes to computer programs and technology. Hackers, programmers with bad intent and even some unscrupulous marketing companies will always want to try and bend a good technology to even the worst kind possible for their own greed. But, otherwise, yes it is as stable as you can get as with any technology.
